New Turbonetics GT-K Turbocharger - Aero Wars

So, Turbonetics just basically took what HKS had been doing for a couple years and applied it to their compressor housings.  Hopefully they'll be a little more affordable than the HKS units [read: under 2 mortgage payments].

Garrett GT28RS vs. Garrett GT30R


Garrett's been playing around with the shrouded compressor housings for awhile.  I have one on my GT30R, but I have yet to swap out the housing to a more vanllia-flavored Precision housing.  HKS offers a "air horn" type deal that screws into the machine-tapped housing of the GT30R.  Wish we had a dyno!!!

1. JUST WANTED THE TURBO COMMUNITY TO KNOW TO BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY. THEY DO TURBO PERFORMANCE IN CALIFORNIA AND DEAL IN TURBONETIC TURBO'S. THEY SENT ME A TURBONETICS TURBO THAT SELF DISTRUCTED AT THE LAST RACE. SINCE THEN HAVE SENT TWO MORE ONE OF WHICH SPLIT THE SHAFT IN HALF. SENT THE TURBOS BACK TO TURBONETICS AND NEVER GOT A STRAIGHT ANSWER ON WHAT WENT WRONG. THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY REFUSES TO DO ANYTHING AND WILL NOT SEND ME MAY OLD PARTS BACK. THE WORST EXPERENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN THIS INDUSTRY I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANY ONE OR A TURBONETICS TURBO. DEEDS PERFOMANCE IS FULL OF IT. JUST LOOK AT SOME OF THE CARS THEY HAVE TUNED RECENTLY AND LOOK AT THE RESULTS

2. AWESOME TURBOS NEVER HAD NO ISSUES WITH THE TURBOS. I HAVE USED TURBONETICS FOR OVER 10 YEARS WITH NO PROBLEMS. I WILL SOON USE THESE GTK TURBOS AND I KNOW FOR A FACT THESE WILL OUT PERFORM THE OLD TURBOS. TURBONETICS HAS SOME OF THE BEST UNITS. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT NEW PROBLEMS TURBONETICS WILL BRING IN THE NEXT 10 YRS. AWESOME PRODUCTS AND INTERCOOLERS ALWAYS WILL BE USING TURBONETICS PRODUCTS...
